Originally designed as a W hotel, the project has since been renamed the Hotel Republic. Architecture sets the stage for the social and sensory experience that is the W San Diego. The design offers comfort to guests seeking respite with a blend of luxury and whimsy. All this, combined with local inspiration, takes shape within the walls of a 100-year old building. The 20-story W, along with 3 levels of underground parking, holds 264 guest rooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms, pool and spa. The rooftop Beach Bar is a locally renowned spot popular amongst visitors and locals alike.
